 Grab a patio table, if you can, for a view of the ocean---even if it's not the Amalfi coast. Inside, a stunning wall mural, warm woods and colorful rustic touches lend a festive atmosphere while a fresh fish display emphasizes the specialty here. A good fritto misto (deep-fried seafood) is available, as well as brodetto (an Italian seafood stew, primarily shellfish, in red wine broth), oven-roasted salt-crusted branzino, and risotto with scallops, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions and a pomegranate reduction. A good osso buco and steak are available for carnivores. We often come just for the crisp-crusted pizzas, bombas (puffed dough filled with various ingredients) and pastas. A long list of desserts and grappas makes it easy to linger on the patio. This restaurant is part of the company responsible for Ocean Avenue Seafood, just down the street, and downtown's Water Grill. Sunday brunch, although priced like that of a fine resort, is awesome.
