Dad's Kitchen Restaurant Review

: Those seeking nothing more than a hearty meal and a cold beer need turn no further than this friendly neighborhood joint. Don’t be fooled by its location within a strip mall --- the space is far from ordinary, with an expansive outdoor patio and separate taproom, both lined with retro advertising signs. The draw is two-fold: the beer, dozens of craft selections on tap and much of it brewed locally; and the food, down-home American classics. Starters include the gut-busting chili mac and garlic-sautéed mushrooms, while mains include a pulled pork sandwich, barbecue bacon burger and a pork chop with mashed potatoes. Dieters need not fret; several health-conscious choices are available, such as the portobello mushroom sandwich and grilled quinoa pita.
