Dario's Restaurant Review: Tuxedoed waiters roam the room, plates in hand, ready to show off the daily specials at this family-run Italian restaurant in Rockville Centre. And when they stop at the table, pay attention; even though the complimentary bruschetta is tasty, they are worth considering. Selections might range from eggplant rollatini to lobster ravioli or fresh fish from the market. The rest of menu is comprised of Italian standards, such as a variety of pizzas and chicken dishes. For an appetizer, try the baked clams topped with breadcrumbs, fresh mozzarella with tomato and red peppers, or the signature Caesar salad. The star of the menu may be the veal chop Dario, a Milanese-style chop with melted Fontina, though we also recommend the pastas and the branzino is quite satisfying as well. Chocolate mousse cake and tiramisu are among the desserts. Don't forget to browse the wine list, which includes bottles from South Africa.
