| Yes, Dave & Buster's is a chain, and it has spread like wildfire across the country, but for good reason. At last, grown-ups have their own Discovery Zone, where they can play wild and crazy games to their hearts content. Plus, Dave & Buster's serves hearty helpings of all-American foods---just the sort of menu for grown-ups who are really big kids at heart. The location isn't the greatest, but once you arrive, plan on staying for most of the night. After all, time flies when you're having fun, and have fun you will with games like shuffleboard, home run derby, billiards, basketball and the Dave & Buster's speedway. Unfortunately, the food takes a back seat to the entertainment. Pizzas and pastas, burgers and seafood, and steaks and ribs are among the offerings, and while they're certainly nothing to turn your nose up at, they won't satisfy a true foodie. Oh, and don't let the games fool you. There's a full bar and no minors are allowed without accompanying adult. |
