 This clubby, upscale Northern Italian steakhouse combines the best of two worlds: fine steaks and pasta specialties such as lobster ravioli with fennel, tomato and lobster cream. Whole-wheat penne is available as a substitute on any pasta dish. The $59 three-course menu, with a surf ‘n’ turf as the main event, is a good value. The Federalist setting (the original Provident Bank) is elegantly severe, but the welcome from the staff is always warm. The bar is a destination for the dark-suit crowd with $5 munchies available from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
