Delicatus Restaurant Review

: The 25 sandwiches on the menu are divided into traditional and progressive. We recommend the ShankLamb, which features a generous portion of flavorful braised and pulled lamb. Add roasted peppers and chive aïoli on toasted bread from the Essential Baking Company, and this sandwich is a hands-down feast. The Gypsy Rose Lee comes in a close second, with its layers of prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and basil leaves, plus a drizzling of balsamic vinegar. Soups and salads are also available, including oyster chowder and a topnotch Caesar. To wet your whistle, there’s a good selection of microbrews, as well as a full bar. Order take-out or enjoy your choice at tables in the inviting restaurant with its cozy brick walls and dark wood framing.
