Dick O'Dow's Restaurant Review:

This cozy pub is committed to bringing a true Irish experience to the 'burbs, and it lives up to its tagline: "a drink comes before a story." From the Celtic decorative details to the low ceilings and hand-hewn beams, the place feels warm and convivial as soon as you step inside. It is the nightly meeting place of many twentysomethings, so the bar is usually three-deep with ale-drinking young professionals enjoying the setting and the live entertainment. In addition to offering lagers and Irish whiskeys, there's traditional Irish fare to go with it, including bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, fish ‘n’ chips and boxty. The hearty potato-leek soup, served in a bread bowl, is a meal in itself. But for those who want to go beyond the Emerald Isle for their cuisine, there are also Black Angus beef burgers as well as a turkey and Brie sandwich, crab cakes and seared ahi salad.
