If picking crabs is your idea of a Zen experience, head over to DiNardo’s Famous Crabs, a family-owned, Philly tradition for more than 30 years. Serving some of the best Gulf hard shells this side of Baltimore---try them sautéed in lots of garlic---this kid-friendly seafooder offers all-you-can-eat crabs every Monday for $32. DiNardo’s clams, oysters and shrimp, swabbed in a special vinegar dip, are addictive. Even the french fries are worth mentioning, crispy and dusted with seafood spice. End on a sweet note with the terrific Key lime pie. The historic building, circa 1740, redone in pine paneling and cozy banquettes, was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. The rear dining room, with its view of the courtyard, seems almost like dining out of doors.
