| Dinner for Two's menu is unique: diners can choose dishes from four columns, ranging from the "tasting menu," selecting one dish each from columns A through D, to the "decadent evening," picking two dishes from columns A through C and a dish from column D. Dishes can also be ordered individually, but ordering from the tasting menus is more fun and saves a few bucks. Appetizers include a grand-slam French onion soup and spicy crab cakes. Prosciutto-and-basil-wrapped shrimp shine as a main course. Column D, of course, is dessert; don’t miss the bananas Foster, with vanilla ice cream, pecans and rum. Though Dinner for Two appears to be a fine dining establishment, the fine dining aspect ends with the upscale décor and professional service, allowing for the unfussy, European and American comfort food to take center stage. |
