| Quaint little Montrose is gradually becoming a notable dining destination, and this homey, family-run establishment is a big part of the draw. The intimate dining room and adjoining patio provide pleasant, casual backdrops for copious salads, oversized portions of pasta (cannelloni stuffed with spinach, chicken and ricotta, bathed in a porcini sauce), surprisingly light gnocchi, wood-fired pizzas, and entrées like pollo alla Gorgonzola and pork medallions in balsamic-grappa sauce. For dessert, consider a much-better-than-average tiramisu. |
