THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dodiyos Restaurant Review:
Enjoy tapas at the curved bar or a lengthier meal at one of the private alcoves. Dodiyós' wide variety of dishes represents every country that touches the Mediterranean Sea. Enhancing the experience is the setting, amid authentic antiques and artifacts from Turkey and Greece. At lunch, Santorini salad wins with grilled artichoke, baby lettuces, local goat cheese, feta, Marcona almonds and roasted tomatoes and red peppers, all drizzled with fig-sherry vinaigrette and with a choice of lamb or shrimp on the side. For seafood lovers, spaghetti a la Barcelona piles jumbo shrimp, scallops and mussels in a garlicky wine sauce. At dinner, the tuna tartare layered with orzo, avocado and tomatoes, and drizzled with spicy harissa and basil oil, is a must. Grilled rib-eye ‘brizola moscharisia’ is served with a spicy Turkish relish of peppers, tomatoes, garlic and mint. Tempting vegetarian fare includes a vegetable version of moussaka. Among the sweet conclusions, you’ll find a rice pudding crème brûlée, baklava cheesecake and a chocolate hazelnut bread pudding. The well-ordered wine list includes lots of value selections and, as might be expected, a good number of Greek wines.
