Angelenos can sip lattes while petting shelter hounds at The Dog Cafe on Virgil Avenue in Silver Lake. Similar to cat cafes around the world, L.A.'s first canine haunt serves up coffee (Grounds & Hounds), tea, and snacks as guests bond with the shop's dogs. The $10 entrance fee includes a beverage, and patrons can hang out in a big dog playroom and have some fun. The dogs are all adoptable, courtesy of the café’s partnership with local animal shelters.
