Dos Tequilas Grill Restaurant Review: Assuring customers of a decent Tex-Mex experience, this Leesburg restaurant offers the usual array of eats, from fried plantains and quesadillas to enchiladas, fajitas and tacos stuffed with savory fillings. Salsa accompanying the chips is freshly made, and the chiles rellenos are cooked to a turn. The menu also includes pupusas, a more typical Central American (specifically, Salvadoran) item, as well as fried yucca with chicharrones and fried plantains. The kitchen introduces some non-Tex-Mex fare, too. Fried ice cream, sopapillas, flan and a delightful and rich tres leches cake are among desserts. The reason the food is better than average may have something to do with the restaurant’s owner --- longtime restaurateur Valentin Escobar.
