Doug Fir Restaurant Review

: Doug Fir offers a wide array of American comfort food served all day. It's a convenient place to eat if you are staying at the adjoining Jupiter Hotel or attending a rock concert downstairs, and it definitely qualifies as a destination in its own right. For breakfast, consider the omelets and pancakes. Tuna melts, Cobb salad, mac ā€˜nā€™ cheese, fish ā€˜nā€™ chips, and the Fir burger are lunch possibilities, while dinnertime brings out the fried chicken and pulled pork barbecue prepared with house-made whiskey barbecue sauce. Another favorite is the grilled Idaho trout with hazelnuts. If you're in a cocktail mood, simply choose a craft concoction and then order munchies such as the cheese fries or fried oysters. When it's not raining, perhaps settle in on the large patio, sheltered from busy Burnside Avenue. A fire pit provides extra warmth.
