| This casual restaurant serves up wickedly good breakfasts, like a smoked salmon omelet, oozing with herbed creamed cheese, tomatoes and spinach. Or try the Austin Taco---scrambled eggs, smoked bacon and cilantro smothered in Austin cream sauce and melted Monterey Jack cheese served with a side of pico de gallo and sour cream. Lunch and dinner offer items such as Thai noodle salad, made zippy with its chili-peanut vinaigrette, and served with the house-made whole-wheat bread. A dinner staple is an appetizer of baba ghanouj, kalamata olives, onions, tomatoes and dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), with pita bread for scooping. It's even better when you order a side dish of garlic mashed potatoes to scoop with it. Leave a little room or make a special stop for a homemade organic smoothie. |
