 The contemporary Continental menu at this pretty hotel dining room evinces just a hint of Pacific Rim influence. The menu changes seasonally, but one entrée that's always on the dinner menu is Governor Stanford's Roast Duck, a hearty classic served with wild rice pilaf. There are always some inventive salads for lighter appetites, and starters run the gamut from prosciutto-wrapped figs to tempura. The wine list mostly sticks with California growers.
