Here is a roomy gastropub with a comfortable country feel offering large sofas to lounge in alongside the obligatory stripped floors and antiquarian objets. A modern British menu takes in the likes of fishcakes on spinach for starters, bouillabaisse, sausage and mash and fillet of sea bass. Handy for a good hearty meal after a brisk walk around Battersea Park.
