Chef-owner of this spot, Sweeney also is proud to occupy a Platinum LEED certified structure, which he makes available in its entirety for private events. Sweeney doesn’t believe in menus, focusing instead on cooking with whatever comes to his attention in the market from local providers. The restaurant’s contemporary atmosphere doesn’t scream vegetarian political correctness, but rather than print menus, the day’s offerings are indicated on a chalkboard. So one day you might find a dish you like only to never see it again. We have savored some of the most delectable vegetable dishes we’ve ever seen here. Not only are the flavors impressive, but so are the colors: jewel-like beets and the surreal greens of the salads. A tagine with all that implies in Moroccan flavors is made from squash and assorted other vegetables. Saturday is organic pizza night. Drinks are limited, as sodas are not consistent with this food, so prepare accordingly.
