THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Eats Market Cafe Restaurant Review:

Although a strip mall is an awkward location for a homey café and bakery, Eats manages to stay inviting by serving pastries and meals with a gourmet touch. It’s managed by husband and wife duo Evan Handler, a third-generation kosher butcher and culinary school grad, and Toby Matasar, formerly an executive pastry chef for Tom Douglas Restaurants. Light filters into the cozy L-shaped space through floor-to-ceiling windows. The noise level can be intense, but it's never overwhelming. Just nestle into a nook and savor Bubbie’s chicken soup and a double-decker grilled cheese sandwich with an optional tomato or turkey slice. Large plate entrées include triple cheese mac ‘n’ cheese and red pepper ravioli. The signature ice cream sandwich is almost two inches high and prepared with house-made ice cream layered between two cookies.
