Effie's Restaurant Review: Squeeze through the cramped front room of Effie's and you'll be surprised to find yourself in a setting festooned with vines and featuring a few outdoor tables. It all feels very much like a taverna in Greece. Bring a bottle of something crisp and dry to complement the consistently fresh, traditional fare. Go ahead and try to narrow down the appetizer selection and then choose the Thessaloniki platter that includes such traditional items as baba ghanouj and tzatziki to be scooped up with warm pita bread, or the meze that has all that plus souvlaki and spinach pie. Follow with swordfish or red snapper grilled with olive oil and fresh lemon, or hearty lamb moussaka. We also suggest the baby lamb chops. Have the rice pudding for dessert---unless your sweet tooth aches for a baklava dripping with honey.
