El Segundo Sol Restaurant Review: Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises has opened El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show mall. The restaurant features the first Strip-side taco shack named Street Taco, and offers signature tacos and Mexican fare, a private tequila tasting room and a selection of beers and margaritas. The shack is constructed from reclaimed wood and topped with a corrugated roof. Guests can choose from tacos, such as the chicken taco with shredded chicken breast with pico de gallo; a slow-braised beef brisket taco topped with diced onion and cilantro; and the grilled fish taco with cilantro, lime, chipotle cream and charred tomatillo salsa. The colorful interior provides guests with a modernized experience of Mexico; servers sport Guayaberas and Chuck Taylors. Choose from nearly 100 varieties of tequila tailored to reflect differences in flavors, complexity, age and geographical locale.
