Elixor Restaurant Review: The 120-plus fusion dishes, with an accent on American fare, offer fine dining at bargain prices. Start with the rich and creamy spinach dip or the VIP Fantasy Appetizer, a sampler of crispy Creole calamari, barbecue, chicken quesadillas and large coconut shrimp. Although entrée descriptions seem overly complicated, the food is not. A caring hand keeps all in balance with combinations such as roasted chicken filet garnished with an array of roasted vegetables, topped with arugula, goat cheese and fresh basil, or cedar plank-roasted salmon crusted in ginger and garlic served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Amid the stylish décor is the Élixor bar where creative finger foods accompany specialty cocktails. The waitstaff is well trained, knowledgeable and friendly. |
