Elixor Restaurant Review

: The 120-plus fusion dishes, with an accent on American fare, offer fine dining at bargain prices. Start with the creamy spinach and cheese dip or the VIP Fantasy Appetizer, a sampler of crispy Creole calamari, avocado rolls, chicken crispers, vegetable quesadillas and large coconut shrimp called the Coco Be Shrimp. Although entrée descriptions seem overly complicated, the food is not. There's even a kids’ menu with chicken fingers, pasta, pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches. As for the mains, a caring hand keeps all in balance with combinations such as roasted chicken filet garnished with an array of vegetables, topped with arugula, goat cheese and fresh basil, or cedar plank-roasted salmon crusted in ginger and garlic and served with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus and a mango barbecue sauce. The restaurant also serves brunch with a four-egg skillet, burritos, french toast and ricotta crêpes. Amid the stylish décor is the Elixor bar, where creative finger foods accompany specialty cocktails. Waitstaff is well trained, knowledgeable and friendly.
