Embargo Restaurant Review

: This urban tapas restaurant and martini bar is the sort of spot made for meeting a group of friends thanks to a very share-friendly menu. We recommend sticking with the simple dishes like the Wellfleet oysters (which are half price at happy hour), other raw bar items and the Kobe beef sliders or Serrano ham. Many of the more creative items, like the seared scallops over truffle Parmesan basmati and tempura vegetables with roasted pepper aïoli, miss the mark both in flavor and quality of ingredients. The restaurant also makes its own infused vodkas, which are both tasty on the rocks or in one of the bar's many martinis. One of the few restaurants in the region open past midnight, Embargo becomes a "place to be" after 10 p.m. with a DJ or live entertainment depending on the night of the week.
