Ercole's Restaurant Review:

Ercole's has been around since 1927 and this Manhattan Beach dive bar shows its age with its weathered bricks and wood walls and booths carved with the names of past patrons. Neon signs, TVs and beer promo posters crowd the rest of the available surface on the walls. There's also a pool table in the back. The place can get a bit cramped but the bar atmosphere is great --- it's been a hangout for generations of locals. Grab a seat at the bar or picnic table and order a beer and one of their hot dogs or "almost world-famous hamburgers." Specials include Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays featuring three steak or chicken tacos for $5, and 2 for 1 deals on hamburgers and chicken sandwiches on Wednesdays. Be sure to note that Ercole's is cash only, although there is an ATM on-site.
