For the serious beer drinker, Falling Rock is brew-dream come true. The rustic LoDo establishment---loads of dark woods and slab tables---features over 70 taps of the best beers available in America, making it the best beer bar in Denver. From popular local and national micros to obscure brews from the corners of the nation and the globe, the beer list here is astounding. The selection recently earned the Rock a classification as one of the top five beer bars in the United States. The house also pours a broad range of single malt scotches and micro bourbons, along with a short list of vinos. Hungry? Falling Rock plates up appealing platters of brewpub fare, everything from burgers and pizzas to burritos and brats. We flip for the exceptional onion rings, thickly breaded and sprinkled with coarse corn meal. Wash ’em back with a soft-bodied cask-conditioned beer from the hand pumps.
