Faz Restaurant & Catering Restaurant Review: With restaurants in San Francisco, Concord and Danville, Faz Poursohi replicates his Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menus wherever he opens. There's nothing wrong with that idea. Our favorite appetizers are the Mediterranean plate with a selection of dips like hummus and eggplant purée, the tabbouleh salad, and the silky house-smoked salmon napped with a cucumber-cream sauce and capers. Pizzas are topnotch, especially the chicken pesto version. Pastas are good, but a better option is almost anything from the grill: pork chops, steak, and a burger with the works.
