| The Fells Grind, aka the Daily Grind, has returned to its funky, friendly roots as Fells Grind. Gone is the gritty Fells Point dive that the cast and crew of the now-defunct TV show Homicide considered a second home. Gone as well is its mainstream identity as part of a large chain. Back under independent ownership, the waterfront café is spacious and sun-filled, with expanded seating and plenty of original artwork to admire. The menu offers sandwiches and wraps, a soup of the day, bagels and locally made desserts. The coffee, in all its incarnations, remains very good, and the people-watching, especially from the outdoor tables, is some of the best in town. |
