![]() Ferris Steak House Restaurant Review: A third-generation family business, Ferris Steak House is a landmark in its West Side neighborhood---and for good reason. Steaks are tender, flavorful and well prepared; service is friendly and attentive; and the setting is inviting. While the eats aren’t especially imaginative, they are solid stick-to-your-ribs good. We suggest the thick-cut pork chops. Entrées are served with a choice of potato as well as a house salad. Seafood selections offer many variations on the surf ‘n’ turf theme and vegetarians can make special requests. There is a tabbouleh and hummus platter if you're looking for something on the lighter side. Cheesecakes and bread pudding are a satisfactory ending to any meal. Cocktails and wines are serviceable. On Friday and Saturday nights, a piano player entertains. |
