Fido Restaurant Review: Nashville turns to Fido for locally roasted coffee, but that’s only the start. It also happens to serve Latin treats like huevos Cubano with salsa and avocado over hash browns. At lunch and dinner, the kitchen turns out reasonably priced seasonal delights. Whimsical salads such as The Liberal (greens, fruits and nuts) give way to bigger bites including catfish tamales with a zingy chile verde sauce. The muffins and bagels are very good as well, and the mammoth slices of cake are treats to savor. There’s a small but interesting wine and beer list and a range of artisan teas.
