| THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO IL GATTO. For years, late-night diners have been comforted by the fact that they can always count on a solid 2 a.m. meal at Figlio. The bar scene is electric and lusty, and the white oak wood-burning oven that smolders deep into the night cranks out a mean Neapolitan pizza topped with ingredients such as fire-roasted pepperoni, fresh mozzarella or shrimp. The daily-changing menu may feature Tuscan lamb chops, house-made ravioli stuffed with lobster or wild caught salmon, but you can be assured that the legendary Joe’s Eggs will always be there for your midnight binge. If it is your sweet tooth that lures you in, dive into the adult junk-food plate: red velvet cake, a brownie sundae or homemade (and warm) apple crisp with ice cream and caramel. |
