Figtree's Cafe Restaurant Review: A favorite for healthy fare in Venice, this little café serves a dish called foccacetti---rosemary focaccia bread topped with chicken, avocado, spinach and Monterey Jack or feta cheese. For breakfast, try the Navaho corn pancakes or oatmeal pancakes. For lunch, we’ve enjoyed the piled-high veggie Dagwood, a sandwich made on focaccia. There’s even a low-fat apple pie. The service can be slow, but hey, you’re in laid-back Venice. |
