Fin Restaurant Review: Fin overlooks the dunes and crashing waves of the Atlantic. Décor is nautical, but not in any way reminiscent of fishermen’s nets wrapped up with fake starfish. From the elegant hand-blown glass fish that adorn the walls to the salt and pepper shakers cast in sea salt, the artwork is modern and stylish. A sophisticated menu offers classic and modern fare: a dish from either category will likely be made with seasonal, locally sourced seafood and produce. From the “little plate” selections, try Jersey littleneck clams steamed in their own juices with heirloom garlic, and spicy Oak Grove andouille sausage, plum tomatoes and white wine. Bigger appetites will appreciate grilled Block Island swordfish, perfectly cooked and seasoned with admirable restraint using just Grecian extra virgin olive oil, lemon and fresh herbs. The wine list boasts labels from New Jersey’s small vineyards as well as wines from the world’s major growing regions. Bar Fin, just outside the restaurant's main dining room, has its own culinary treats with an extensive raw bar, and sushi and sashimi served with an array of saké.
