Fin’s is a big, noisy place on the busiest corner in Denver. There are cases and cases of fresh fish and shellfish to choose from---to take out or to eat there. It all comes straight from the owner’s other company, Reel Fresh, a wholesale supplier of seafood to many Denver restaurants. The menu changes daily, depending on what’s fresh and in season. For starters, we like the barely-blackened scallop salad or the seared beehive salmon salad served with honey-mustard sauce. The steamed mussels and the steamed clams come in satisfyingly large portions. Don’t miss the shredded fish tacos served with black beans and rice. Another favorite is the fish and chips with crunchy coleslaw and homemade potato chips. The sushi bar is one of the best and freshest in town. Service is brisk.
