| For better or worse, Fire & Ice is a do-it-yourselfer's dream, centered around a choose-your-own-ingredients bar and an "improvisational grill." The room is decked out in all hard, gleaming surfaces and contrasting primary colors, creating a festive air for the office klatches and co-eds who line up at the eight-foot grill with their bounty---chicken, pork, beef, fish, tofu, a wide array of vegetables and numerous sauces, such as zesty tomato and sweet chili. The grill chefs then fry it all up, while the servers bring over rice and tortillas. The results are as mixed as the tastes of the customers. |
