Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Restaurant Review: It’s always bustling at Firebirds --- a brisk lunch business and a hopping dinner trade mean diners may have a wait, but the restaurant eases the delay by occasionally sending out tastes of appetizers from the menu. The drinks menu features specialty martinis including the signature Double Black Diamond Martini made with house-made pineapple-infused vodka. The food fires on all cylinders --- starters are substantial, so go easy on the Ranch Rings (onions battered with buttermilk and panko crumbs), the coconut shrimp or the crab cakes. Or do indulge and make your dinner from several tastes. For entrées, check out the wood-fired specials: steaks or salmon, which comes out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Firebirds' specials include Asiago cream chicken pasta, daily fresh fish, ribs and meatloaf. A good selection of burgers and sandwiches completes the menu.
