THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Firehouse Four Restaurant Review:
The saying goes, if you can remember Firehouse Four, you werent there. Service is a fiasco in this happy-hour jamboree, a meat-market and boisterous after-work hangout for young cliques of downtown professionals. Live musical acts vary from reggae to blues to alternative rock to jazz, and is it ever noisy here. Dining upstairs on the patio is appealing, but the food isnt. Come for the people-watching, stick to appetizers and cocktails in this refurbished fire station-turned-hotspot, and youre bound to burn off a little steam. Fusion fare includes trendy, but acceptable, rare seared tuna and adobo-rubbed chicken over bonito mash. Desserts seem like an afterthought. On weekends, Firehouse caters mostly to University of Miami party animals.
