Don't let the name fool you---this delicatessen is far more than a simple sandwich stop. Flush with artisan cheeses, house-baked desserts, imported specialty food items and the aromas of meats, Fisher Clark is a bona fide beacon for bread-heads, sandwich snobs and pastry buffs. It's a counter service-only affair, with just a few stools for seating, although the outdoor patio houses a few tables to catch the constant overflow. The Spanish ham, chorizo and arugula sandwich blanketed with manchego and smeared with pear onion jam is a crowd favorite, as are the muffaletta, Cuban pork sandwich and simple corned beef sandwich. For dessert, indulge in a black-and-white cookie or bread pudding.
