Flavor Cafe Bakery Restaurant Review: Flavor Cafe Bakery does a big breakfast business with lots of smoked salmon, scrambles and pancakes, while lunch features made-to-order sandwiches. But dinner is where chef-owner Peter Teimori’s restaurant shines. Eggplant appears in a variety of appetizers as well as in a bean dish. Grass-fed beef is butter tender with good flavor. Teimori is classically trained and spent time in the south of France, and presents his duck confit with a crispy skin, bathed in pomegranate sauce. Cornish hen was tasty but could have been cooked a bit less. For dessert, we recommend any of the ice creams, especially the cardamom version, or the pistachio ice cream sandwich.
