Flight 1551 Restaurant Review: THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED Fresh Choice owner Jeff Bersh recruited vino-master Greg Sorrell from D.O.C. Wine Bar for his first venture into the wine bar business. This sleek spot, outfitted in slate and silvers with a large half-moon-shaped bar at the center and a white, wave-textured wall, draws a lively, sophisticated crowd looking for grown-up, but fun wines and food. The frequently-changing wine menu lists more than 40 selections by the glass and 200 bottles from Spain, France and Oregon. Chef Robyn Marfurt (Fountainhead) gets playful with comfort-style American small plates that include bacon-wrapped dates, half-shell oysters, local cheeses, smoked meatloaf, fresh salads and a trio of grilled cheeses. The party starts early, at 4 p.m., with late-night drinks and eats running until 2 a.m.
