THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flip't Out Eats Restaurant Review: Jesse DeRamos, a culinary school graduate, started out serving traditional plate lunches but wanted to do something more. So he took cues from his heritage and twisted them around to create dishes like the Fili cheese steak topped with Filipino cheese, Pinoy dogs (Filipino red hot dogs topped with things like pork guisantes, a rich pea-dotted stew) and the popular banana split lumpias made with bananas, homemade marshmallow cream, strawberry preserves and hot fudge sealed in a fried pastry skin. If you’re not familiar with Filipino food, this truck will get you caught up but quick.
