The Flying Biscuit Cafe Restaurant Review

: With a less-funky atmosphere than its older sibling, this Flying Biscuit location sits on the corner with a good view of its Midtown environment, and gets just as crazy busy as the original Candler Park store. So line up early for brunch, or prepare to wait for the good egg dishes, pancakes, biscuits and the topnotch chicken sausage available all day. These biscuits stand somewhere between fluffy Northern style and thinner, crispier Southern style. Oatmeal pancakes strike us as a bit heavy. For lunch or dinner, target the sandwiches and the turkey meatloaf with its classic side accompaniment, "pudge," a blend of sun-dried tomatoes and mashed potatoes. Vegetarians (including vegans) will like the way they're treated, with tasty stuff at every turn. But the hormone-free, antibiotic-free steak will please their carnivore buddies. There is a short wine list.
