Things really heat up Late Night at The Fish, when a young bar crowd fills the tavern to down yards of draft beer. They sate their appetites with an after-10 p.m. menu that features shrimp baskets, spring rolls, fried calamari and quesadillas. Early in the evening, you’ll find a family-friendly restaurant with a funky, creature from the sea décor. Salads and sandwiches dot the menu, but a heartier selection includes big plates of baby-back ribs, fajitas and grilled chicken with apple cherry chutney. The blackboard features daily fresh catch specials. We especially like the grilled salmon and blackened mahi mahi and the house specialty garlic roasted Alaskan halibut with shrimp and pineapple salsa. Michigan cherry crisp is the perfect ending to a burger or a seafood entrée.
