Forbes Mill Steakhouse Restaurant Review: Borrowing its moniker from the original name of Los Gatos, Forbes Mill delivers the goods in terms of choice beef, designer cocktails, and a thriving after-work singles scene. The plush dining establishment, which is highlighted by an attractive fireplace at its entrance, boasts a classic, upscale steakhouse look. The menu features selections of Kobe-style Wagyu beef, which is rich in flavor and velvety in texture. You can't go wrong (unless you're a vegetarian) with such choices as the eight-ounce filet mignon served with a Cognac-peppercorn sauce, or the dry-aged 14-ounce New York steak. The restaurant also serves fine pasta and fish dishes, as well as chocolate-rich desserts. Stately private rooms are suitable for formal dining events. |
