| Borrowing its moniker from the original name of Los Gatos, Forbes Mill is more than just the benefactor of great hype and marketing. This place delivers the goods in terms of choice beef, designer cocktails, and a thriving after-work singles scene. The plush dining establishment, which is highlighted by an attractive fireplace at its entrance, boasts a classic, upscale steakhouse look. The menu features selections of Kobe-style Wagyu beef, which is rich in flavor and velvety in texture. You can't go wrong (unless you're a vegetarian) with such choices as the eight-ounce filet mignon served with a Cognac-peppercorn sauce, or the dry-aged 14-ounce New York steak. The restaurant also serves fine pasta and fish dishes, as well as dreamy chocolate-rich desserts. |
