THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Foster's Restaurant Review:

The day Foster's opened in 1995, its dining room already glowed with the patina of history. Granted, it was borrowed history, in the form of heart pine flooring salvaged from the Sears Building in Chicago, decorative wrought iron from Charleston, and walls and archways built with 100-year-old bricks from South Carolina. But it's nonetheless a fitting backdrop for the restaurant's bill of fare, a survey of traditional and regional American dishes spanning the continent from Northwestern cedar planked salmon to Southern low country shrimp and grits. The wine list isn't very imaginative, but there's a good beer selection, including a few local drafts.
