THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED Francis Bogside Restaurant Review

: Francis Bogside began as the next-door bar to sister restaurant Brigid, but has since assumed a culinary life of its own, albeit from Brigid’s kitchen. A beer cheese soup speaks to the pub-like offerings. Poutine has been eschewed out of principle, but it's easy to endorse the Bogside burger, the steak sandwich and the BBQ pork sliders paired with more than an adequate heap of fries. An ice cream cookie sandwich, totally homemade, turns a childhood favorite into an adult pleasure. And the bar’s substantial beer selection, along with cocktails shaken and stirred by some of the city’s finest ’tenders, makes the whole experience very adult indeed.
