A casual "seafood shack" in Encino from chef Phillip Frankland Lee.
THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Frankland's Crab & Co. Restaurant Review:
Chef Phillip Frankland Lee brings a casual "seafood shack" experience to his hometown of Encino, with Frankland's Crab & Co. Scratch|Restaurants again assembles their team of pastry chef Margarita Kallas-Lee, barman Devon Espinosa, and designer Jordan Olson for this venture. Look for by-the-pound fresh catches like chilled white gulf prawns, wild-caught king crab legs, or Maine lobster; there's also branzino fish and chips, shellfish chowder, and fried oysters and clams. Sip spiked root beer and lemonade, or house wines and local craft beers. A series of framed windows peeks into the bustle of the Scratch|Bar kitchen, and vermilion swinging doors connect to the adjacent Woodley Proper cocktail lounge.
