: Seasonal cocktails are matched with a menu of small plates at The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co. A few of the nibbles include Peking pork rinds, country ham and pimento cheese gougères, and house-made charcuterie such as lamb pastrami, pork rillettes, country pâté and boudin blanc. This sexy spot is appropriate for an impressive date or any time you want to have a cocktail with hand-chipped ice.

Coolest Bar I've been to

I've been to a lot of bars across the globe. The Franklin Mortgage Company is by far the coolest bar I've been to and serves the best drinks. A friend and I were driving back to Jersey from slightly west of Philly and stumbled upon this place searching for a bar on the trusty iPhone. I'm glad we stopped. The place is very inconspicuous and underground. If it wasn't for the GPS on our phones we would not have found it. We waited in line for about 30 minutes to get in, but it was worth the wait. They have limited seating and will not let people in unless there is an open seat. Once inside you feel like you are in a legit speakeasy from prohibition. The drinks were made fresh right in front of us and were phenomenal.
