French Market Grille Restaurant Review: Veteran hotelier Patrick Halcewicz supervises one of the most delightful French restaurants in North County, and we appreciate that the menu encompasses French classics such as boeuf bourguignon and coq au vin, as well as updated dishes that reflect the possibilities of the moment and the whim of the chef. Nice starters include French onion soup, crab cakes and scallops with grapefruit sauce. Enjoy entrées like paella, braised lamb shanks and breast of duck, or try the signature bouillabaisse. And while we like the freshly baked specialty breads, we save room for the crêpes Suzette.
