West Philadelphian's go for Fu-Wah’s tofu hoagie, a vegetable version of Philly’s favorite (cold) sandwich, spiked with jalapeños and swathed in spicy sriracha sauce. Fresh Vietnamese flavors add bright notes to another favorite, a lemon grass chicken hoagie. There’s also a regular deli and an eclectic array of grocery items are available. Fu-Wah is owned by the Lai family, also behind Vietnam restaurant in Chinatown and Vietnam Café a few doors up.
