Garden Grill Restaurant Review:
Every kid who visits Disney World wants to see Mickey Mouse, and this is one place you're guaranteed an audience with the Big Cheese. Mickey and other Disney characters are on hand at mealtimes and make a stop at every single table for photos and autographs. Also, the restaurant slowly revolves above scenes featured in the pavilion's boat ride, so there's a constant change of scenery. The hearty meals are served in giant, all-you-can-eat skillets. The menu includes bread with maple butter and salad; char-grilled filet of beef with red wine butter; turkey breast with cranberry-orange relish; a sustainable fish of the day with tomato-fennel chutney; and rice pilaf, smashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Dessert is baked harvest fruit crisp and vanilla ice cream. Not haute cuisine, but certainly filling for a hungry family on vacation.
